Public Works and Transport Minister in the caretaker government, Ali Hamie, clarified that "Prime Minister Najib Mikati and all the ministers have confirmed that in the event of any emergency, the government will be considered in continuous session."

On financial matters, Minister Hamie emphasized that "we are responsible for our people and our citizens." He assured that each ministry has its own budget and stated that as Minister of Public Works, he would not hesitate to use funds from his ministry's budget to address the needs of the people in southern Lebanon, not just for reconstruction.

He also announced that he will visit the south on Thursday at 10 a.m., specifically in Burj Rahal and the Kfar Remen roundabout.

Hamie revealed that "the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has prepared a comprehensive plan and secured funding through previous Cabinet decisions. We have also implemented precautionary measures across all public facilities, including maritime facilities, the airport, and infrastructure."
