Israeli media reported that "Israeli air defenses intercepted at least 20 rockets launched from Lebanon towards Nahariya." The Israeli Fire and Rescue Authority also announced that a fire had broken out in Western Galilee due to the falling rockets.
The Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom" noted that "the rocket attack affected 8 towns in Western Galilee, northern Israel."
In response, Hezbollah stated that "its members targeted the newly established headquarters of the 146th Brigade in Jaiton with Katyusha rockets," adding that "the attack was in retaliation for the assaults on southern villages, especially the town of Marroub."
