Thefts and pickpocketing continue to be a problem in various areas of Lebanon, particularly in Tripoli. Notably, three separate incidents of robbery and pickpocketing occurred simultaneously but in different neighborhoods of the city.
According to "Lebanon Debate" sources, on Friday night, two young men were attacked by unknown assailants while traveling through a side street near a school in Tripoli. The attackers stole their motorcycle, as well as their money and mobile phones, before fleeing to an unknown location.
At the same time, another robbery took place near the Tripoli Courthouse as there were reports that unknown individuals on a motorcycle snatched a bag from a woman (A.H.) as she was walking along the roadside opposite the courthouse.
Additionally, on the Corniche of the port area, a young man had his phone stolen by unknown assailants on a motorcycle, who then fled the scene.
All the victims have filed complaints with the security forces, who have begun investigating the incidents to uncover the details and apprehend the suspects.
