The Free Patriotic Movement announced via its official account on the platform "X" that Gebran Bassil, the head of the movement, traveled abroad for a business trip lasting less than 24 hours. Yesterday, he visited the town of Baskinta, where lawyer Walid Joseph Khoury hosted a dinner in his honor.
The event was attended by various figures, including ministers, MPs, judges, lawyers, and mayors, mostly from the northern Metn area. During his visit, Bassil delivered a speech emphasizing the significance of Lebanon's diverse and free existence.
Bassil also addressed a large group of FPM supporters in Baskinta, discussing the importance of party commitment and the national role of the movement.
The statement noted that Bassil will resume his activities in Lebanon as per his usual schedule starting tomorrow.
