Today, the town of Zgharta awoke to the heartbreaking news of the death of its young resident, Jimmy Antoine Finianos.
According to "Lebanon Debate," Finianos was involved in a traffic accident last Sunday evening on Sahl al-Jadida road in Zgharta, resulting from a collision between several cars.
Reports indicate that the 20-year-old Finianos was taken to the hospital for treatment, but after four days, he succumbed to his injuries this morning.
There have been numerous calls on social media urging prayers for Jimmy's recovery, as he was well-loved by the townspeople and known for his high morals.
Hours before his death, Jimmy’s father, Antoine Finianos, posted on his Facebook page: "My heart burns for my only son. I raised and taught him, and the whole world knew you as a polite young man. Now, a reckless driver put you in the hospital. Oh, our children are not a commodity."
