“Lebanon Debate”
Lebanon Debate has learned that “Amin Badreddine, member of the Radwan Elite Unit was killed by an Israeli attack. Yesterday, Hezbollah pronounced him as a Martyr on the Path to Jerusalem.”
The martyr had previously volunteered with a civil organization following the Beirut port explosion on August 4, 2020. Several activists involved in the aftermath confirmed that Badreddine participated in relief efforts and debris removal in and around the port through one of the NGOs. He also contributed to initiatives aimed at "Restoring Life to Beirut after the Explosion."
Badreddine, whose jihadist name is Zulfiqar in honor of his uncle Mustafa Badreddine, a senior party leader assassinated in Syria years ago, was martyred on August 6, just two days after the fourth commemoration of the port explosion.
