“Lebanon Debate”
In a recent development amid ongoing psychological warfare and intimidation by the Israeli forces, several residents of Nabatieh received alarming messages instructing them to evacuate their homes for their safety.
Lebanon Debate has learned that more than three families from al-Bitar, Raslan, and Shmeisani in the al-Makassed neighborhood of Nabatieh were warned via text messages to leave their homes immediately, as these residences were reportedly targeted for bombing.
Several families complied with the evacuation precautionary measures after receiving these messages.
Authorities have been notified and are investigating the situation. It has since been discovered that the warning messages originated from a fictitious account previously known for sending false alerts to Lebanese residents in the southern regions.
