Former Prime Minister Saad El Hariri wrote on X on Thursday:" The army remains our only hope to defend Lebanon's sovereignty, borders, and territories."
Hariri also emphasized that institutions remain legitimate and are the only guarantee for Lebanese unity.
He concluded with: "May you be in good health every year, both generals and soldiers. May Lebanon always be safe."
