Amin Hatit Passes Away

The retired Brigadier General and military expert Amin Hatit passed away after suffering a stroke. He was admitted to the hospital last Saturday and died on Monday.

Hatit was a former Lebanese military officer who held the rank of Brigadier General and was also a distinguished military expert and analyst. He completed various military courses in Lebanon, Jordan, Belgium, France, and China, earning a diploma in advanced military studies after an accredited leadership program. Additionally, he held a Ph.D. in Lebanese state law.

He served as a commander at the military academy and played a key role in demarcating the Lebanese borders and overseeing the verification of the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000. He authored several books and legal and political studies and contributed to over 50 scientific conferences and seminars.

In this context, the Media Relations department of hezeb issued a statement: "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the Media Relations department of the Party mourns the researcher and strategic thinker, retired Brigadier General Amin Hatit , who has passed away after a life of notable contributions."
