The General Directorate of Civil Defense reported today, Monday, that a fire was successfully extinguished inside an apartment on the third floor of a residential building in Al-Shayyah-Southern Dahieh of Beirut. The Dahieh fire brigade responded promptly at 5:00 PM today, July 22, 2018.
Additionally, efforts were made by emergency personnel to transport patients to the Geitaoui Hospital, while the deceased was transferred to Bahmen Hospital.
Furthermore, the directorate mentioned that an injury occurred due to heavy smoke inhalation during the fire incident.
