“Lebanon Debate”
The tragedy struck the same family twice within hours as they waited by the hospital's emergency door for news about the death of Ahmad Anduri, 44. He tragically passed away in a severe accident that shook Tripoli's Barrania neighborhood. Ahmad and his son Bakr were involved in a fatal traffic collision near the Rashid Karami exhibition grounds.
According to "Lebanon Debate," the accident occurred when a car collided with their motorcycle near the Rashid Karami exhibition grounds in Tripoli. The impact caused Ahmad to fall and critically injured his son Bakr, who was subsequently transported by the Lebanese Red Cross to Al-Nini Hospital for urgent treatment.
Unfortunately, Bakr could not survive the severe injuries inflicted upon him. Despite the efforts of doctors, he passed away a few hours later, compounding the family's grief with a double loss.
Details revealed that Ahmad was initially driving the motorcycle with his son Bakr, who was no older than 14, riding pillion. The sudden collision with a car caused them both to fall heavily, resulting in Ahmed's immediate death and leaving Bakr fighting for his life for several hours.
The car involved in the accident veered off the road and overturned after colliding with the motorcycle, sustaining moderate damage in the process.
