“Lebanon Debate”
A reconciliation between the two families in Baissour has been achieved with the assistance of both the former leader of the Progressive Socialist, Walid Jumblatt, and the leader of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Asrlan. Efforts are still in place to address the file of the Qabrchamoun-Basatin incident and reach a full reconciliation, especially since the case remains in the hands of the Druze courts.
