“Lebanon Debate”
A dispute occurred in the Ain el-Helwe camp in Sidon resulting in one injured.
Lebanon Debate learned that the dispute started with a confrontation between a taxi driver and another individual, escalating into a shooting that injured the driver near a Lebanese army checkpoint next to the government hospital. The injured man was promptly transported to a hospital.
Information indicate that the incident was not of political or partisan background, and sources attributed the altercation to familial reasons.
It was revealed that the shooter, identified as the injured man's brother-in-law, fled the scene in an Avanza vehicle.
