The Public Relations Department at Beirut Municipality issued a statement on Thursday: "On the backdrop of repeated violations by Valet Parking companies, especially around the Beirut waterfront, Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud has appointed a special department within the municipality to control violations, issue seizure reports against violators, and refer them to the competent judiciary for legal action."
The statement further added that Abboud urged valet parking companies to respect the official quota.
He emphasized that "in case of repeated violations, legal action will be taken, potentially leading to complete closure."
