“Lebanon Debate”
Weapons have become among the most significant possessions for many Lebanese, acquired either illegally or under questionable circumstances. However, this impunity not only poses a danger to the public but also to the owners themselves, as incidents of accidental firearm discharge resulting in injuries are tragically common.
In a recent incident, "Lebanon Debate" reported that a providential intervention saved a young man A.A accidentally fired his military pistol while playing with it at home in Daftardar Square, Tripoli. The bullet struck him in the stomach.
He was immediately transfer to Islamic Hospital for urgent medical care.
Sources indicate that his condition is stable after the bullet was successfully removed from his abdomen. He remains under intensive care for further treatment.
Security forces are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the mishap.
