“Lebanon Debate”
A commander of the Islamic Group (al Jama’a al-Islamia), Mohammad Hamed Jbara, was martyred in a hostile raid in Bekaa. Information indicates that he was born in al-Karaoun, West Bekaa, and was a military activist within the Islamic Group, specifically part of the Dawn forces (al-Fajer). He had been targeted by Israel due to his involvement in resistance activities, surviving multiple threats and assassination attempts until now.
Lebanon Debate reported that the leader had been recently imprisoned after weapons and missiles were found in his possession. However, he was released when it was determined that these weapons were intended for resisting Israel.
A viral video features the martyr steadfastly declaring his commitment to the cause despite facing pressure and threats from the Israeli enemy.
The Islamic Group in Lebanon, alongside its military wing, the Dawn Forces, honors Mujahid Commander Mohammad Hamed Jbara (Abou Mahmoud), who was martyred during a Zionist raid in the West Bekaa region on Thursday morning (18/7/2024). This incident adds to a series of crimes committed by the enemy.
In their statement, the Islamic Group condemns the cowardly act and holds the Zionist enemy accountable. They pledge to continue defending their land and supporting the people of Palestine without faltering in their duty.
