“Lebanon Debate”
Theft and pickpocketing incidents persist across Lebanon, particularly in Tripoli, as illustrated by a recent incident involving two young men.
According to Lebanon Debate, two Syrians were robbed of their motorcycles near the pedestrian bridge in the Qalamoun area late last night. During the robbery, one of the assailants stabbed one of the young men in the stomach. Then, they stole the motorcycles and fled the scene.
Following the attack, emergency services promptly transported the injured victim to Tripoli Governmental Hospital for necessary treatment. He is reportedly in a stable condition. Security forces have launched an investigation to uncover details of the robbery and apprehend the suspects.
