“Lebanon Debate”
Amid heightened security concerns in northern Lebanon, particularly in Tripoli and its environs, Lebanon Debate reported an incident where unknown individuals opened fire on a cheese and dairy shop in Zgharta. According to details, unidentified assailants on a motorcycle fired shots at the (Talib) shop in the Alma district of Zgharta, injuring a person identified as A.Z. with a gunshot wound to the face.
The victim was swiftly transported to Cezar Mouawad Hospital in critical condition by private vehicle for urgent medical attention.
While the precise motive behind the shooting remains unclear, initial reports suggested it stemmed from prior disputes between the shooters and A.Z., escalating into a targeted attack.
Security forces promptly arrived to the scene and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident in order to apprehend and interrogate the perpetrators involved.
