According to “Lebanon Debate" sources, leader of the "Free Patriotic Movement," MP Gebran Bassil, is still privately proposing the name of retired Brigadier General George Khoury as a candidate for the presidency.
Khoury is considered close to Bkerke, but he is rejected by the majority of the opposition.
