MP Tony Frangieh confirmed on Sunday that Lebanon urgently needs to elect a new president without waiting for regional and international initiatives.
Instead, the country should engage in a clear and unconditional internal dialogue among its different political parties.
In a Zoom meeting with the new administration of the Marada party in Sydney, he emphasized, "We acknowledge the crucial role of Lebanese expatriates. Collaborating with them and with internal forces in Lebanon can contribute to proposing solutions for the severe challenges facing Lebanon, especially economically."
