ذكرت مراسلة "التلغراف" السابقة في بيروت "Abbie Cheeseman"، في منشور على حسابها عبر منصة "إكس": "آمل أن يكون الأمر بديهيًا، لكن يجب أن أوضح علنًا، أنني بالطبع لست وراء تلك المقالة المجهولة الكاتب في صحيفة التلغراف حول مطار بيروت".
وتابعت، "للإضافة إلى ذلك: توقفت عن العمل في صحيفة التلغراف الشهر الماضي ولم يكن لدي أي علم مسبق بهذه القصة غير المسؤولة إلى حد كبير حتى ظهرت اليوم".
Hoping it goes without saying, but need to clarify publicly, that I am of course not behind that non-bylined piece in the Telegraph about Beirut airport...

To add to this: I stopped working for The Telegraph last month and had absolutely no prior knowledge of this wildly irresponsible story until it appeared today.
