أعلنت المخرجة اللبنانية أنجي جمّال التي أخرجت كليب أغنية "الى كل اللي بحبوني" للفنانة إليسا أن الأخيرة اتصلت بها وأخبرتها قصّتها الكاملة مع مرض السرطان.
وقالت في سلسلة تغريدات عبر تويتر: "اتصلت بي إليسا في أحد الأيام وقالت: "أريد أن أخبر قصتي... فيما كنّا نحضّر للعمل، أرسلت لي تسجيلات صوتية هي نفسها التي سمعتموها في الكليب... من دون أن تعلم أنني سأجد فيها الطريقة الأنسب لإيصال رسالتها.. رسالتها مع المرض والألم والنجاة".
وأضافت: "لم نكن نصوّر او نعمل، كنّا نمرّ في تلك اللحظات معها مجدداً، نعيشها مجدداً، وما رأيتموه هي دموع حقيقية".
وتوّجهت جمّال إلى إليسا بالقول: "أقدّر وأحترم قوتك وشجاعتك وقلبك. آمل أنني تمكنت من تجسيد رسالتك".
She calls me one day n said:i want to tell my story"...as we were preparing... she sent me all these voice notes that you heard in the clip... not knowing that i will find in them the best way to reflect her state of mind... her unbelievable story of illness, pain, and survival!
